Summit Aids Louisiana After Hurricane Ida

This is a little late because our team was in south Louisiana all last week helping communities recover. We brought an 18 wheeler full with pallets of bottled water, large totes of water so people could use them for showering, tarps, filled up gas storage tanks, provided generators, chainsaws, food and baby supplies. We also cooked a Pastalaya that served about 500 people including a bunch of Louisiana State Police officers. We also tarped roofs, cut trees and tried to put a smile on some faces.

Special thanks to Randy Tomlin, Brian Deyoung, Anna Storkes and Josh Johnson for pulling this together quickly right after the storm hit.
