United Way of Forsyth County kicked off their 2015 Campaign with their 13th Annual Day of Caring on the Campus of Lanier Technical College on Friday, September 5th. Together, a couple hundred fearless volunteers and sponsors – packaged 60,000 non-perishable meals for distribution in Forsyth County.

Lead by our team leader, Jordan Dombart, our Summit Industrial team assembled soy, dried beans, dried vegetables, and rice in small plastic bags while our own Executive Chairman, Jim Watson had fun weighing each packaged meal to an exact 3.90 lbs. We had great assistance from three young boys from a local school and two nurses who joined our team. What a great way to give back to our community and help others in need.
